Budoni and Sardinia

Holidays in Budoni

Hotel Li Troni's apartments in Budoni are available for weekly stays, weekends, day trips and longer stays. Opt to rent a property for weekly or longer holidays, either in summer or winter, to have more time to admire the local beauty.

Budoni, in the province of Sassari, borders Posada to the south and San Teodoro to the north. The town's strategic position will allow you to visit several neighbouring areas of undoubted beauty and historical importance.

Sardinia's flora and fauna

The waters of the beautiful Sardinian sea are not the only attractions you should not miss during your summer or winter holidays. There are also numerous brackish ponds with beautiful pink flamingos.

Not far from the hotel, on the island of Tavolara, you can spot seabirds, such as small shearwaters and crested plovers or mammals like domestic goats. The vegetation in the area consists of special Mediterranean plants of ancient origin, including the mastic tree and Phoenician juniper.

Cala Girgolu

During your summer holidays at Hotel Residence Li Troni, you can also visit Cala Girgolu, just 20 minutes from Budoni. The resort is a beach surrounded by promontories and a crystal clear blue sea. The cove is famous for a pink granite rock, known as the "turtle" or the "Gallura Rooster", formed due to erosion by the wind and sea.

Archaeological and historical sites

The area in which the residence is located is dotted with major archaeological and historical sites. The two main points of interest are the 'Su Entosu' nuraghe, a two-hour walk from Budoni, and the tower of San Giovanni in Posada, built from the pink granite of which the rocks are also made.

Our hotel staff will be happy to organise excursions and horse riding trips, upon request.

Sardinia and its wonders

If you enjoy organising weekly stays to travel and recharge your batteries, Sardinia is the place for you.

The island is made up of mountainous and hilly areas and long coastlines washed by a clean, transparent sea.

Its Mediterranean climate, dense vegetation and presence of a particular fauna make the region a unique place to admire, experience and photograph.

The town of San Teodoro

San Teodoro is a popular tourist town with long white sandy beaches, night clubs and bars for late night entertainment. If you are in the area for a few weeks or more, it is definitely a destination worth visiting.

Thanks to the wide choice of places to visit for families and young travellers alike, Hotel Li Troni's location is particularly convenient for holidaymakers of all ages.
